The 12 bar blues is one of the most common progressions used in music, appearing in songs everywhere. It’s also considered to be one of the fundermental progressions learnt by all musicians. In its most basic form it sounds quite bland, but the idea is to make modifications and additions to the progression to add your own style and interest.
In this workshop we will learn some basic comping ideas. The simplest explanation of comping is to create your own version of the rhythm guitar part to give the progression more appeal.
